As the Case Manager at VRC’s Newhall location for the past 2 years, I am most proud of the care, efficiency, and compassion with which I address the individual needs of our clients. Here at Valley Recovery Center I have the opportunity every day to get to know our client’s on a personal level. Developing and cultivating this connection allows me, as their advocate, to assess their needs, develop and personalize aftercare plans and coordinate and ensure that they have access to adequate resources and services upon discharge. It is as a survivor of substance abuse myself that I have developed a passion for Case Management. After 9 years of sobriety I have found tremendous reward in being able to use my knowledge and experience to improve retention outcomes in treatment, and impact life altering change in the lives of our clients.
