Outpatient & Aftercare

Designed for Long-Term Recovery

The care we provide here at Valley Recovery Center doesn’t stop when your treatment program ends. We offer a number of outpatient and aftercare services to those who’ve completed one of our programs. These services are designed to assist those in recovery as they get back to everyday life and face the challenges that come with maintaining sobriety. This support is a crucial part of staying sober, especially in the early stages of recovery. And just like our residential treatment programs, our aftercare services take into account each individual’s personal history and needs.

Finding the Right Treatment

Outpatient & Aftercare Services Offered

Valley Recovery Center offers evening outpatient treatment, day-patient treatment, extended care, sober living, and other general aftercare services. Each of these programs is provided with the same care and devotion we give to our residential patients, and they take place in a positive, supportive environment. Our treatment is always tailored to the patient’s specific needs and personal history.
We provide outpatient and aftercare services not because we expect people to return to addiction, but because we know that support and care are absolutely the best tools to encourage addicts in their sobriety. They can continue to grow personally and develop the life skills and coping strategies they learned during treatment. Studies show that the more time an addict spends being treated, the more likely they are to maintain lasting recovery.

Outpatient Family Program

At Valley Recovery Center, we are absolutely committed to providing patients with the care and support necessary to live a sober life. We also know that the involvement of family members and loved ones can make a huge difference in the recovery process. We strive to involve family members in the treatment of their loved one, and this includes having families take part in weekly therapy sessions with our patients and other activities. The family program we offer includes group therapy, individual sessions, and workshops. The goal of the program is to provide everyone involved with an understanding of addiction and how it affects their loved one’s behavior and state of mind. We also work with families to improve their communication, with an emphasis on openness and honesty.

Families play a powerful role in our patients’ overall healing and recovery from addiction. It may not always seem like it, but families have a profound influence on their loved ones. This influence can be a positive force, it can contribute to negative behaviors, and often it does some of both. Our family program is built to help patients and their families explore and understand these influences and their overall relationships, so they can address the underlying issues and work together to help the patient achieve sobriety. Understanding addiction and being open to communication are crucial skills that families need to have to be a positive force in their loved one’s support system. It can be very challenging for families to face these issues head on, but we truly believe that doing so gives their loved one the best chance to achieve lasting recovery. And families will deal with these issues in the caring and supportive environment we’ve created here at Valley Recovery Center.

Ensuring long-term sobriety

At Valley Recovery Center, we know that the treatment we provide is just the first step in recovering from addiction. That process will continue as patients get back to life in their families and communities. They will continue to face challenges, so it’s important that they have somewhere to turn for support and care. With that in mind, we provide our patients with an alumni program that is designed to give them that support. We truly believe that our alumni program and aftercare services are a crucial tool in helping patients achieve lasting recovery.

Addiction is a disease, and treating the disease means having a support system to turn to for help. That’s exactly what our outpatient and alumni programs provide. It gives patients the opportunity to connect with other alumni, both those who are still getting back on their feet and those who have maintained their sobriety for some time. Each type of alumni has valuable perspective and advice to offer to patients as they move through their everyday life.
