Jessica Fieldman, M.F.T.I.
Jessica is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who has been working in the Recovery field since switching careers in 2016. She has a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate University, a Master’s Degree in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
Jessica uses various techniques including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Client-centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She combines humor and empathy to make the clients feel comfortable, allowing them to see their unhealthy behavior patterns and gain the tools and courage to make difficult changes.
Jessica’s approach to addiction is that drugs and alcohol are just coping mechanisms for underlying pain, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and trauma. By addressing the core, underlying issues together, clients are able to heal, grow, and find satisfying lives that no longer include the use and abuse of substances.
