Clinical Services

Clinical Services Available

Clinical services are not just an integral part of the treatment we offer here at Valley Recovery Center, they also help to determine the best course of treatment for each patient. Our psychiatrists, psychologists, and counselors provide our patients and their loved ones with the guidance and support they need as they go through the recovery process. Our team will be by your side throughout your entire treatment, and we’ll also be here to provide support even after you complete a treatment program.

careful and accurate diagnosis

Clinical services use science, theory, and treatments that have proven to be effective to treat psychological disorders. The first step our team will take is to carefully and accurately diagnose any disorders that may occur in our patients. They then work to help patients manage the symptoms of their disorder, which can be very effective in treating addiction. Along with behavior modification philosophy, the clinical treatment philosophy is one of the primary ways we work to treat addiction.

Co-Disorder Evaluation

Where the behavioral philosophy focuses on addiction as the primary issue and works to address that, the clinical treatment philosophy treats addiction as a symptom of underlying issues. This means that patients will be evaluated for any co-occurring disorders that have led them to self-medicate with drugs or alcohol. This evaluation occurs as part of the psychiatric and psychological assessments that patients undergo as part of treatment here. Patients with co-occurring disorders will be treated by our experienced professionals. Identifying these disorders can be very effective in helping our patients achieve recovery.
